JOIN US FOR A LOCAL RECYCLING FACTORY TOUR
Have you ever wondered what happens to your recycling?
This tour is a must-see for anyone interested in learning more about how we can reduce our waste.
Walking around the site is fascinating - a visceral assault on all your senses.
The tour will be hosted by APR's Education team and will include opportunities for you to:
- learn about “wish-cycling”
- understand the daily challenges and limitations of operating a recycling facility
- participate in a fun quiz about what can and can't be recycled
- be confronted by common myths and the mythbusting realities of recycling

Additional details:
- Please make your own way to the site by 3.50pm - plenty of onsite parking is available.

Closed shoes must be worn (steel capped boots - if you have them)
- PPE will be provided by APR (eye-goggles, earplugs, his vis jackets and helmets)
- Light refreshments will also be arranged by EEV.
